- Letters of Recommendation (Optional) from your college counselor, principal, dean or teacher who has taught you in an academic subject.
Option 2: New College Application
- No application fee
- Personal Statement/Essay
- ACT, CLT or SAT scores (self-reported or official)
- Transcript or SSAR (Student Self-reported Academic Record)
- Letters of Recommendation (Optional) from your college counselor, principal, dean or teacher who has taught you in an academic subject.
EARNING A FLORIDA PUBLIC A.A. + HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AT THE SAME TIME
Earning your high school diploma while completing a Florida public associate of arts (A.A.) with a Florida College System or State University System institution?
You can apply for admission with or without exam scores (ACT, CLT, or SAT).
With Exam Scores – If you submit scores, we’ll consider you for freshman admission.
If you’re eligible, we’ll consider you for freshman scholarship funding.
Without Exam Scores – If you don’t submit scores we can waive the admissions score requirement for you. Submit your official college transcript for us to review, if you choose this option. (You must complete both your high school diploma and the Florida public AA degree as conditions of enrollment, if you are admitted.) If you’re eligible, we’ll consider you for transfer scholarship funding.
Notify the Office of Admissions by the final posted deadline for enrollment, if you don’t complete the A.A. Completion of the AA or submission of official ACT, CLT, or SAT scores are required for enrollment.
- Official exam reports are required if you deposit and enroll at New College–official SAT or ACT scores must be reported on your official school transcript(s), or submitted directly to our office by the testing service using the codes College Board (SAT) #5506 or American College Testing Program (ACT) #0750.
- CLT scores can be sent directly to New College by logging in at http://www.cltexam.com/tests/results/ and selecting New College.
If you have already graduated high school, and you expect to earn the AA from another Florida public college or university before the term you are applying to enter, please ask your admissions counselor if the SAT/ACT requirement can be waived.
*We are unable to accept faxed standardized test scores as official.
